Another brilliant piece of history writing from Erik Larson. Packed with details but never bogged down. Maybe the fact that his research is hands-on in libraries, etc. and that he avoids information from the internet is what makes his non-fiction stand out the most. He really tries to feel and live his subject. I highly recommend his Isaac's Storm as well.
