At the time I enjoyed the Tom Clancy's and the extended series of novels he spawned and "created". Rereading them though, isn't as much fun. What looked like a well researched techno-thriller has in many cases become a bit too much fantasy, and in his later novels set in the (more-or-less) present day(-ish) there are sloppy errors that made me start to doubt his continuing research.... Anyway you may enjoy this the first time, so the book (and many of its companions)will be set free!
