After a stressful week as an "administrative professional", I'm not sure that running away to Alaska would be my choice, but it doesn't sound completely out of the question either.
On the other hand, the bit about the mosquitoes really bugged me. I'd heard that they were the "state bird" of Alaska in the summer, but it sounds like I'd need one of those beekeeper type outfits in order to avoid being eaten alive: mosquitoes like me MUCH better than I like them.
I'm pretty sure I saw a carved penis bone for sale in a hotel lobby in San Francisco; it might have been from a walrus.
