Recommended to me by a friend. Not really my cup of tea. Has a very interesting storyline that I think will appeal to many others.

the person leaving the book found an interesting spot for it... in the commons of Lincoln, UK, among the running horses. I found it while walkng with my six-weeks son tight in his sling wrapped round my chest.

I found this on a colleague's book shelve and planning to read it and release it back in the Atrium.
I read this at the weekend - it is a rather sad book - about young women let down by their families, school, and society in general. Unlike angry young men they don't go out and shoot people but they self-harm and their attempt at revenge goes horribly wrong. This is definitely not Bridget Jones!
