From the back of the book:
"Light of the Moon
Evelyn St John has been parachuted into France to link up with the Resistance. Paul von Hoch's brief, as a member of German intelligence, is to track down enemy spies. Suddenly, the battle lines shift between patriotism and a deeper truth.
Consider the Lily
Winner of the 1994 Romantic Novelist's Association Novel of the Year Award, Consider the Liy is a glorious fusion of love and gardening, of family life and coming to terms with loss. A haunting, passionate story played out between three people, it is also a poignant and beautiful novel of England between the wars that propels the reader into its own rich and nostalgic world."
Given to my by my Mum for releasing at this weekend's London Convention. She's been clearing out her bookshelves and thought I was a good opportunity to clear out some books in a useful manner! We're staying with them while we're not in London, as we're on "leave" from Malaysia where I'm working for a year.

Strangely enough, this book ended up with me! I brought home only 3 books from the Convention - and I know each of the BookCrossers who left them! Apparantly one of our speakers - Oxford author Alison Hoblyn - almost picked this one up too!
Thank you Katie1980!
Thank you Katie1980!
Starting reading this today - it's been waiting there for me for ages on my tbr pile...then I stopped - I so wanted to continue! BUT - Light of the Moon is set in France - and I'm off to Provence in August so will take this with me and have a lovely pure indulgence read by the pool :) I'm also meeting bookcrosser Mallary (who lives in France) out there so will pass on to her after I've read it.
Interested to see Consider the Lily won the RNA award too - one of my favourite authors - Linda Gillard - was shortlisted for this award this year (2009).

Thanks so much for passing this on to me!
I'm looking forward to reading these two books in one. :)
