I found the style of this Poirot tale very different to some of Christie's earlier books. Still enjoyable but perhaps not as charming and intricate as some of the others.

A classic who dunnit from the queen of crime. Monsieur Poirrot is called in to investigate the murder of a child, and a wwhole set of related deaths comes to light. The careful research of M.Poirrot uncovers a lot of red herrings and the ending is the traditional explanation of the case - the murderer is a surprise, though!
