Journal Entry 4 by MarthaK-H from Lewisham, Greater London United Kingdom on Saturday, April 26, 2008
A really enjoyable good page turner and a quick read.
Ultimately its a spy novel, but not in the classical sense. Two stories are told alongside each other - one is a mothers memoirs from her spy days & the other is about the life of her daughter in the modern day & how the two stories eventually overlap.
I really liked the characters and got into the stories really quickly. The authors style makes it flow really easily and makes you want to read on. In fact I think I will look out for some of his other novels in the future.
Its the kind of novel that you could imagine devouring whilst relaxing on holiday. Great!
