I didn't finish this book. It's style is very rambling and probably suits the time it describes (1920s), but I couldn't get into it. Characters come and go within a couple of pages. I'm passing it on to Icila because I could tell it was going to take me ages to wade through it. I can't give it the attention it deserves.
