not sure when it arrived as my partner thought it was a birthday book and held it back (although anyone getting me a weight loss book for my birhtday had better post it ;-)
I have found this a really helpful book in explaining some of the difficulties I have had with weight loss, and explaining why it has worked at times and not others.
This has motivated me to fit in the things that I have been putting off, and hopefully I will see a diffierence in a few weeks.
I am going to pass it on to my partner, so we can discuss a few things, then I will re-read it as I rushed it a but, adn would like to re-digest some of it at a slower pace.
I will probably then take a few notes, and photocopy his charts at the back of the book, then pass it on.
His recommendation of at least 12 minutes aerobic exercise twice a day, 5 days a week is a bit daunting, but I did that on Thursday, only one yesterday, and so far one today (but planning more later). Maybe I'll set up a database in the ayhoo group for logging it, and see how many of us are up for it.
