I picked this book up at The Book Thing in Baltimore during our BookCrossing road trip over the weekend. My French language skills are terribly rusty, so I might need to have a dictionary handy, but I'd really like to try to read this in French!

This book came to me in a very particular time of my life. I am living a separation with my wife since August. It comes with the highs and lows of possibly getting back together or not. I also lost my job in December. My life since last year came to a point where I needed to have a good look at how I was living it. A lot of changes have already taken place. I live at a slower pace, I enjoy every little moment life brings me, I don't have to prove anything to anybody anymore. This book (a classic) I had read in school probably 30 years ago (I am now 44) It is all about seeing life with the eyes of a child. It is about enjoying simple things life brings you. Grown up people tend to forget that we can still have a child's heart and eyes for simple things. We, grown up people, very often say we are to busy or we justify for not having time to enjoy. For some other reasons this book came to me at a good time, my son brought it home. I took the time to read it and I am glade I did. It was very resourceful.

I will leave the book at a place where it can be seen and bring some good moments to somebody else.
