I only know the bare bones of the Hellen Keller story. Deaf and blind, and taught sign language by sticking her hand under water...ok, well, something like that. I didn't realize until I opened it that this is actually a play.

Thanks for the bookbox, ariesgirl29! SO exciting to get so many books at once. And my town needs bookcrossers, so I've been trying to release what I can around town here. I'm the only one. :(

Quick read. It did seem quite familiar. I'm wondering if I had read it sometime before. Interesting story.

Read in Columbus, Nebraska.

Taken from the Red Canyon geocache and put a little BC-book of my own as a replacement. Great to find a BC-book while on vacation in the USA. I released about 10 to 15 books of my own during our road-trip in the South-West.

This little book will be on the small mount TBR on my nightshelf. Thanks.

Journal Entry 7 by wingAylaMeywing from Zeist, Utrecht Netherlands on Tuesday, October 14, 2008
It didn't quite make the little mount TBR on my nightstand but grabbed me by the throat. What a lovely little book this is. It takes my right into the theater, seeing the stage, seeing the lighting, the decor, the actors... But it does more than that. It also drags me into the past, with sights, smells, different ways of living, of dealing with things. It takes me into the heart of the story. The fight for salvation. For understanding. For life worth living. It does all that in one breath.

I've had a great time reading it. I'm sorry to see it finished. It reminded me of a film I once saw with a sortlike story...but that was a long time ago. I like this book better, for I am the one to envision what I read. Form it into my own film about a deaf-blind but not at all dumb little girl getting to learn to communicate and in return learning her teacher about love.

Thanks for sending this little book out into the world.

Journal Entry 9 by Professor-X from Koekange, Drenthe Netherlands on Monday, October 27, 2008
Found my first Bookcrossing book in the wild! Took it from a geocache.

I'am sorry, I don't read English books often. And this kind of writing is hard to follow. Looks like a script for actors ;-)

Best regards,
Professor X
