Sort of a sequel to Holes - the continuing adventures of Armpit and X-Ray after their release from Camp Green Lake:
Theodore Johnson, known at Camp Green Lake as Armpit, sets five goals for himself upon his return to Austin:
1. Graduate from high school.
2. Get a job.
3. Save his money.
4. Avoid situations that might turn violent.
5. Lose the name Armpit.
Of course, it's not as easy as he'd hoped, especially once X-Ray and a pop singing star named Kaira DeLeon get involved...
