I've been to Salem and seen Arthur Miller's The Crucible; I wouldn't say that Tituba has been *forgotten*, but she has not gotten a lot of attention. In this book, Tituba comes alive as she tells her own story: not just the infamous Salem witch trials, but what came before...and after.

Arrived in deep southwest Texas as part of Moody-Blue's Every Color of the Rainbow Bookbox. Thank you for sharing! This bookshelf is in the Chisos Mountains Lodge where there are no phones and no televisions in the guestrooms. Books, therefore, are a popular commodity! This one is sure to be picked up and enjoyed by someone this winter.
found this book at the VA hospital in San Antonio, looking forward to reading it and passing it on.
