Sandra Dallas is one of my favorite authors. I couldn't resist picking this up from the free bookshelf at the library. So that's two things that make this a cool find. The third is that it's a large print book as well.

Tallgrass is the story of a girl who grows up just down the road from a Japanese internment camp in Colorado during WWII.


This is actually a Reader's Digest Select Edition (condensed). This book also includes Autumn Blue by Karen Harter, another bonus for whoever catches this release once I let it go.

Please try The Persian Pickle Club also by Sandra Dallas. This is a depression era quilting mystery. Sounds lame and weird, but it is surprisingly good. In fact, it is in my top ten favorite books of all time.
