Blurb: "Murder in the Mews is a case of apparent suicide. The door is locked, the windows fastened, and the widow Allen dead. But Poirot knows that nothing is apparent about suicide - or murder... "

Nearly new paperback.

This was purchased in a lot of 125 books, all nearly new, at a thrift store in Stanton, Delaware, U.S. The cashiers thought I was crazy, but they were 8 for a dollar, and there were so many choice books in great condition that I couldn't resist.

I was there to grab a bite to eat before heading to my night class. I had a wrap at the deli place at the far wall.

This was left on the second floor, on top of the trash can near the stairs. There used to be free magazines there all the time, so I thought it was a good place. But on my way out, I saw that there's a whole free literature rack downstairs, which would have been a better spot to leave this. Oh well - next time...

This is odd - I may have actually left a different A. Christie book. My old description of the book talks about "Murder in the Mews", and I actually thought that was the one I left, but apparently I registered this one instead. Or maybe "Murder in the Mews" is one chapter of this. I'm confused. I'll have to go home and see if I still have a book called Murder in the Mews, or if I still have a book called The Moving Finger.
