This was passed onto my parter by a very nice chap that we met on the Portsmouth - Bilbao ferry last week. After I'd read it I realised that he's started a history of the book inside the back cover, so I'll replicate it's travels to date here, then hope it can squeeze in some more in the fullness of time!

The History of this Book

* Bought by Steve Taylor for a holiday read in Tavira, Portugal.

* Started in Tavira by Malc Clarke, onto England & completed on the Pride of Bilbao.

Anyway, it was a great story but I found it a little confusing to follow at times. There's a couple of characters with a similar name (Bell / Wells) plus a lack of speech marks & fondness for very bland descriptions of trivia which sometimes left me wondering exactly what was going on. Mind you, as I read allot of it driving up through Portugal I was perhaps not giving it as much attention as it deserved!

Until I find a new home for this I'll pop it in one of our caravans as our wwoofers often enjoy taking a book onwards with them.
