Picked this up cheaply at a bookstore in Rosebank Mall that was having a huge sale.
Author of "the Jane Austen Book Club", which frankly I didn't love. But I got the book for 17R (about 2.50$), so couldn't really pass it up. Either way, will be a brain candy read if i need it.
Will journal more once I have started!

Meh--- am about half way through and am not loving it. Lots of descriptions and context setting, but not a lot by way of a narrative story--- nothign that keeps me turnign the pages. Will prob finish though--- hopefully soon.

Okay. So I am not finshing this book. I am just soooooooooooo not interested, though i have tried my darndest, and in any case i have some cool books waiting in the wings for me. I just didn't get the point of this book. Too much anecdotal tangents about the town, and a lack of focus for the story itself.

Will be leaving this somewhere in the city--- sorry i can't be more specific. I only have a few hours stopover in the city on my way back to Joburg, and have never been, so am not sure right now where i will be leaving it. Hopefully on a boat, or in the Old Town somewhere.
