From back cover: Onetime U.S. operative Cotton Malone teams up with his former supervisor, Stephanie Nelle, to find the legendary cache of wealth and forbidden knowledge thought to have been lost forever when the Knights Templar were exterminated in the fourteenth century. Nelle is armed with vital clues to a series of centuries-old puzzles scattered across Europe, but also in pursuit of the historic prize is a shadowy zealot with an army of assassins at his command. At the end of the trial lies a discovery taht could rock the civilized world -- and, in the wrong hands, bring it to its knees.

I picked this up at yesterday's impromptu meetup in Tempe, Arizona. I had planned on dropping it off at a nearby OBCZ but it was closed, so I'll bring it back to Virginia and offer it up to the BC in DC gang. I had a really great time - thanks for making me feel so welcome.

I grabbed this book off the table today at La Madeleine. I enjoy reading thrillers from time to time, and had thought about looking for a copy of this before, but never seemed to get around to it. (One of many books on my mental checklist, this one had never even made it to my wish list.)

Thanks for bringing it Melydia, and thanks to the previous owners too!

Sadly, MaryZee passed suddenly in September 2012. MaryZee's daughter is now ready to rehome her mom's books and I was willing to collect and redistribute them to keep her literary legacy alive.

Journal Entry 8 by KateKintail at Burke, Virginia USA on Sunday, August 19, 2018
Received with a lot of other books from the collection of my dearly departed friend, MaryZee. I'll be taking a dozen or so with me to leave around town or in Little Free Libraries.
