"One of the most talked-about books of the new millennium, American Gods is a kaleidoscopic journey deep into myth and across an American landscape at once eerily familiar and utterly alien. It is, quite simply, a contemporary masterpiece." So says the back cover blurb and I can't really disagree with that statement. For the second time I've read one of this immensely talented author's books and found that I'm a bit too squeamish for him. The discussion questions in the back of the book were a nice feature (and not much of today's contemporary literature would I consider worthy of such an addition).
I have not read this book as of yet. But I do believe that it's travels will probably be stopped,as I found it in a Library.
