My mother has read and enjoyed most of Grisham's books. I bought this one for her because it just came out in trade paperback. But, surprise! She hated it. She said she only read 1/2 of it and then "ran out of patience" because it was "too drawn out, too sad."
The cover says "Grisham has written both an American tragedy and his strongest legal thriller yet." But I tend to believe my mom.

This was an ok book.. great story, but it took a lot of pages and way to many details to tell it. I've definitely read better Grisham books.
