The town of Hawkins Hollow is called The Seven. Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys-Caleb, Fox, and Gage-went on a camping trip. Twenty-one years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men-and the women who love them.

I picked this up yesterday at about 4pm. Not so into horror, but I like books with a twist of history and this dabbles in America's Puritan past, plus seems to be a love story to boot. My first Nora Robert's novel. I am already on p 92 of 314 so I think the book will be back out there by the end of the week. It would be quicker but my plate is full. I'll post when I release it in Los Feliz. Too bad the sequel is not supposed to be out until May of this year though. It is a simple novel but I am being entertained and I think I want to see how it ends.

Real quick read. I picked it up late on the 15th and I finished it a few hours ago. Two days. I liked the characters and it is a bit of a mystey. Not brilliant, but entertaining. I really liked the characters. It left you hanging though at the end. It truly is the first part of something. A little perdictable. I can see where the second and third book may go. I enjoyed it though. As a side note, if I were making this into a script, it needs more. Also the special effects stuff can't be underdone or it would read cheesy. A better idea would be to read all three and make them into one, but the second and third books are not even out yet. It was scary, but you got the sense that the fear was from illusions and so it did not give me nightmares or upset my sensitive side. (I am not a big horror fan.)

Enjoy.
