Sorry it took me so long to log. I picked the book up last week. I'm sure it arrived before then but I was away. I plan to start reading it today.

I never really connected with the characters in this book, though I did enjoy the exploration of various reader views on the same books. It is interesting how we can all draw something different from the same book. I liked how for each reader, Jane was something different.

The characters were likeable, but I never grew to care what happened to them very much. I suppose I would describe it as a pleasant read, but it did not impact me in any great way. Perhaps if I had been more of a Jane Austen fan, I would have enjoyed it more. I do plan to read a few of her novels and have already acquired Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Persuasion for my TBR list.
