Another lovely gift from the boys for Christmas 2007! I requested this one as it has a huge following on BookCrossing. I can't wait to get to it.

This one has a huge following among the BookCrossing community and was at the top of my 'To Be Read' pile when my bookclub happened to pick it. So imagine my surprise when I didn't love it... infact, I just kind of liked it. I'm glad I read it - if it wasn't picked by my bookclub, I KNOW I would NOT have finished it. I forced myself through it. It was just too mish-mashed! Comings and goings, drizzling rain, wretched old crows holed up in dank mansion telling story in retrospect. Cats, topiary, one crazy person after another dying, dying, dying. Get on with it already! It was a mess. So as you can see...I didn't really care for it but that is what is so great about literature. Different strokes for different folks. At book club I'll be honest...just not this honest. I happen to know,the person that picked it love-love-loved this book. And that's OK.

I'll be setting this one free soon and I'm sure it'll be picked up immediately...and hopefully journaled by someone who can also enjoy it asmany other have....just not me. Best wishes book!

I'm scheming up a plan for the wild release of this book on my way home from book club tonight! I'll edit with details later after my stealthy actions are complete!
