One of the funniest Tom Holt book I've ever read! As usual, the characters are as wacky as can be (Attila is just irresistible!), there are non-stop gags, the storyline is *very* original... I loved it all! A very good Tom Holt:-]

Synopsis (Amazon.co.uk):
As everyone knows, when great warriors die their reward is eternal life in Odin's great hall - otherwise known as Valhalla. But Valhalla has changed. It's grown. It's diversified. Just like any corporation, the Valhalla Group has had to adapt to survive. Unfortunately, nothing could have prepared it for the arrival of Carol Kortright, one-time cocktail waitress, currently dead, and not at all happy. Sparkling comic fantasy from one of Britain's sharpest, funniest writers.

well, what a fabulous surprise!
chich you are so very, very naughty!
thank you so much for this wonderful surprise; you do not know how happy it made me feel to open your parcel tonight, complete with the lovely bookmarks enclosed.
I have had a terrible week (the beautiful apartment my wife & I are renting these past two years has been sold and we have been desparately looking for another home; my wife sliced open her finger the other day cleaning & when we were in the hospital A&E I passed out from a combination of anxiety and stress and today, well, I nearly fainted again at work from the stress and was feeling so weird I honestly thought I was having a heart attack! The Doctor assures me this afternoon that it's only a muscular chest pain which has been induced by stress and worry but, merde!) and so your thoughtful RABCK was indeed a gift from the bookcrossing gods - Bless you.
