This book was on my wish list, so I'm very glad I was able to find it at The Book Rack!

Alex Kava is definitely one of the best suspense authors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting through her books. Although this one was well over 450 pages, I was able to finish it in just a few days, especially with as interesting and gripping as it was! It was easy for me to solve the mystery/crime portion of the plot, and the ending was very pleasing where Father Keller was concerned. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series to find out how Nick and Maggie's relationship finally come to terms. I loved how this novel incorporated the crimes of the previous installments and tied everything together. All in all, a fast, engaging mystery.
