Well, I'm glad these stories were not as bitter as the Sherman Alexie story I read in McSweeney's... it was about Indian ghosts killing white people. 'Heaven' was still a bit bitter but it was still down to earth. Overall, I like Alexie's writing style...just not the stories in McSweeney's... but then again none of the stories in that particular McSweeney's collection was very good.
