This story follows not only Robert Sapolsky's work as a primateologist studying baboons in the African Savannah. He also looks at the people and the cultures he met in Africa during his trips there. His writing style is quite entertaining, but I have to warn the squeamish that they might have problems getting through the last chapter about how the baboons died that he buried.
