9 journalers for this copy...
I've seen this book a few times and since I love fiction that takes place in Japan, I decided to finally pick a copy up.
The story of a woman trying to hide her past in a remote town in Japan and the friendship that brings her secrets out.

Sorry! The book is still safe--I had so many rings here last month I was drowning, but I can see the beach from here. I will pm passiontoread again and hope to have this finished and moved on in about a week.

Oh my gosh! I was just cleaning the living room and found this behind the couch! I am so very very, terribly sorry! It must have fallen off the coffee table and I completely forgot it was here. I am mailing this off to Passiontoread in today's mail. 1000 apologies for stalling this.
Perfect timing! I finished the book I was reading yesterday morning and I received this in the mail that afternoon. Already started reading it and I really like it so far. Thanks so much for passing along.
I actually got finished with the book last week and forgot to journal! I really loved this book!!! I love reading books about other cultures and I could also relate to Caitlin with being a swimmer. I instantly knew I would like the book. It's a great summer read to take you on a virtual vacation! Thanks for sharing the book. I already contacted AliceF and will get the book out as soon as I can.
In the mail yesterday to AliceF. Enjoy!
Gratefully received by post today from passiontoread... thanks! It's no. six on my TBR list... the first five are ring books, too!

I'm afraid I hadn't realised just how long I'd had this book until I received a prompting PM recently... and so I picked it up the same day, with the intention of finishing it within a week. However, I just couldn't! I struggled, really struggled to care about the characters... and I don't.
So I'm going to send it on unfinished; sorry!

received in the post today thanks :)
Unfortunately I just can't get into this book at the moment - could be because my little one is crawling and just don't have the attention span at the moment to read a book!
Will post as soon as I have next person's address.

vainilla79 has asked me to skip her as she is currently moving and so will be sending off to Chich tomorrow

I love Japan and anything that relates to Japanese culture so I was really looking forward to read this book. Unfortunately (and despite having enjoyed the first few chapters) I found the book to be quite boring and just didn't care about the characters or what happened to them.
Thanks for restarting this ray and sharing this book with us therubycanary!
Book sent to wollie today, enjoy:o)

A few days ago I found this book in a box full of books given to me by wollie through Audje (both BC-members). Shockingly, I discovered this book is a bookray supposed to go to sudokogirl in Bosnia-Herzegowina. Poor wollie has just been too busy with everything that's on her plate in life and with always handing out the most phantastic books!
I just PM'ed sudokugirl to find out if she's still interested in this ray; otherwise I'll bring it to the BC-meeting of coming Sunday, on which we will celebrate the opening of yet another Amsterdam-OBCZ: OBCZ-Westerpark!
And a big hi to all of you BC-ers around the globe!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I have given sudokogirl only 2 x 24 hours to get back to me about this book. Since she has not replied yet, I would like not to miss out on the golden opportunity to take this book with me to the openingsmeeting of OBCZ-Westerpark tomorrow, thereby creating a good chance of some BC-er picking up the book and adding a name and JE to its already quite considerable list of readers!
In case sudokogirl gets back to me in a later stage and decides she wants the book after all, I'll try to get it to Bosnia-Herzegowina anyway!

I picked up the book at the OBCZ Westerpark opening. Mixed reviews!
I loved this book - sad in some ways, but it kept it secret till late in the book. Recommended.

Really enjoyed this book. While reading it I could feel the ash on my skin. Interesting also so read something about Japan. Hope that Nella enjoys the book and that she will then pass it on to Hendrickje
