Although I have this one on my Mt. TBR shelves (though I haven't yet read it), I couldn't resist grabbing this one when I saw it at the outlet store the other day.

Leeann Norris, 12, comes of age in a dysfunctional family. After her mother is killed in a car crash, her older sister Mary Beth, 23, takes on the care of Leeann and a foster child. She supports them by waitressing and "song reading," her gift of analyzing her clients’ psyches by charting the songs running through their heads. An interesting premise, however this book is really about family dynamics and the bond between sisters.

Intesreting read. Boring to start but it picked toward the middle/end. Thanks for sharing this book.
