Based on the events surrounding Natascha Kampusch's kidnapping and ultimate escape. Would have been better if it was an authorised account. A pretty ordinary read.
Picked up at the meet-up.
It's the true story of a 10 year old girl who was kidnapped and escaped after 8 1/2 years. It is a story containing photos of her tiny underground cell plus people and places of importance. It makes my head reel just trying to imagine what that was like. She, however reveals little about her daily life. She says even less of her captor . We are left with the authors speculation.

Although interesting, I expected (wanted) more from Natascha.

Not quite what I was expecting. This was written in quite a stilted, detached style. I almost felt as if I was reading a not-very-good English translation of a story originally written in German. As amberC says, Natascha doesn't say very much (had she done a publicity deal elsewhere?) and we're left with author speculation.
