It's Ben Bova, what could be bad?? This is the story of a moon base founded using nanotechnology. Sequel to "Moonrise". I picked this copy up at a used book store in Azusa (LA County) while evacuated from San Diego during the wildfires, Oct 2007.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This book request came in via paperbackswap.com while I was in China this week, but now I'm home and can put it into the mail. I was reading what I wrote previously about the wildfires in San Diego. Coincidentally, I'm watching on TV right now about a major wildfire in Santa Barbara. We're having Santa Ana winds blowing hot dry air in from the desert, prime wildfire conditions. Scary.
This book is going to a fellow reader in Sturbridge, MA. I hope you enjoy this book!
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!
