From Jon Katz, bestselling author of A Dog Year and Dogs Of Bedlam Farm:
Expect to laugh, cry and shake your head as you read this book. John Grogan understands that the journeys that people and dogs sometimes take together are a reflection of us and our world - of our own humanity and of the joys and sorrows and ups and downs of life. Marley is a great and memorable dog, and in the hands of a writer as observant, unsentimental and piercing as Grogan, this is a human-canine journey dog lovers will want to take.

Hilarious! Given to a coworker in Chadds Ford, PA.

A colleague at work passed this book to me and I set it aside for a while. One day I was driving through my town (West Chester, PA) with my daughter and we saw film crews in town. Turns out it was the filming of Marley & Me so I went home and started reading! This is a light, fun read, especially good if you are a dog lover. I had fun with it because it was about a young couple getting married in the mid-80's and starting a family - all mirroring my own experiences/timeframes.
