Before reading this, I had no idea what it was going to be about - maybe some sort of sc-fi, knowing Crichton's past books. How wrong can you get ! It's hard to pigeonhole, even after reading it.
This, ahem, aviation thriller details the week that Casey Singleton has checking out the investigation of a plane where, on landing, it's discovered 3 are dead with many more injured. The amount of detail of the airframe industry is well researched but neccessary and no way detracts from the pace of the book.
A thoroughly enjoyable book, well recommended.
