Book three in The Keys to the Kingdom saga.
After the events of Tuesday, Arthur is back on Earth, stuck in hospital with a broken leg and a bad attack of asthma. However Drowned Wednesday, the holder of the Third Key and the next "trustee" of the Will wishes to meet with him.
She sends a ship to take him from his hospital bed, although it is miles from any ocean, and sail him back to the House. But the ship grabs Arthur's friend by mistake, and Arthur is swept to out to sea on his rapidly sinking bed.
Drowned Wednesday has been cursed by the other trustees, suffering a constant hunger and the need to continuously eat - which has led to a change of form and becoming a giant leviathan. She wishes to make a deal with Arthur, giving up her Key to the Rightful Heir, but her section of the Will has been stolen by a terrible pirate and sorcerer, and hidden on his secret base - which may be on any sea in the Secondary Realms.

Was reminded today that I forgot to catch this book when I originally picked it up - sorry! Is safe in my possession :)
This book came recommended by the others at meet-up today so I picked up the two Garth Nix books at the table. I do enjoy fantasy and YA fiction so I'm looking forward to reading them.
