Picked up at the Wellington Monthly BC Meeting.
I've enjoyed other books written by McCall Smith and am looking forward to this one.
Hmmm, didn't really like this book, couldn't get into it. Evidently I prefer The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency.
Nabbed before the "meet the Irish" Wellington mini-meetup.
The journal entries so far aren't leading me to expect much, but I'll give it a go anyway.
Depending on when I read it, I'll either wild release it in NZ, or bring it back to Ireland.
A rather meandering book, which meant you'd no idea which details were relevant to the mystery. But it was a pleasant read, and I'm happy with the conclusion. I' liked some of her philosophical musings too.

Caught this book (which is set in Edinburgh in Scotland) at Te Papa museum in Wellington New Zealand. The book had been left in an exhibition re. Scots in New Zealand (very appropriate). I plan to release the book either at Auckland airport or somewhere else in the city where travellers are likely to be
