This is an uncorrected proof and the cover has no art at all. I am surprised it comes up as a romance since I had it figured for chick lit on the lines of Good in Bed. Will read and release sometime this spring.

Received in bookring. Will pass it on as soon as I read it!

This was such an entertaining book! Too intelligent, in my opinion, to be categorized under "romance." The main character is fascinating and the plot is complex and intertwined. I'm so glad I signed up to read this one! I received a lot of bookrings/rays at the same time, so I didn't get to this one right away, but when I did, I think I read it in two days! I just couldn't put it down! Very good book.

Released on Monday, May 12, 2003 at Bookring/ray in USPS, postal release USA.

Sent on to next person in bookring, pgsahm. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

Rec'd the book via mail. I look forward to reading it. I have to get through another few books first, but I promise to read this soon and then pass it on in the bookray! Thanks a lot for starting this!

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. It was okay, but it did not blow me away. Maybe I've been reading too many British books lately and the Brit lingo got on my nerves. There were some interesting parts to the book and the storyline was fairly unique but after a while, Katy/Kat/Katherine/Katerina/Kitty/Kathy made me mad. She was an annoying main character. :o)

Okay, it'll be off to pinewood21093 this week!

What was that? Romance -- not quite. Psychological study of woman's development as she comes to terms with mother's death/search for mother (Maeve/Winnie)? Mystery? It certainly had a twisty plot, which kept me going (I thought for sure that Richard had put Craig/Jamie up to driving Katherine mad because of she wouldn't commit to the relationship/his jelousy. While Katerhine was interesting, she was annoying and not entirely believable. A London-ophile, the city was almost a character as she drove through the city.

A somewhat frustrating novel

Cheet is here & will have to stay for a few weeks. I am trying to quickly make my way through my bookring/bookray books and still enjoy them.

Weird woman. Weird book.

Katherine's life is too complicated for me to enjoy. Just thinking about it to write this entry is giving me a slight headache.

It was a very quick moving story, which is good, but I felt like I had to pay too much attention to keep up with what was happening. Could just be that it is the end of a very tough work week and my brain is fried.

In any case, I will send out to ellymae58 next week.

Thank you, hulamonkey, for sending this my way. I'm curious to read it, as the reviews so far have been very interestingly mixed! However, it'll have to wait until I've finished the bookring title I'm currently reading!

I actually liked this book more than I thought I would. I thought it was fun, reading about how Kathryn juggles all her lovers. I was disappointed in the ending though. :(
