Never Let Me Go

I have now registered my 400th book !
I've read one other book by Ishiguro: When We Were Orphans. I was fascinated by his writing. Very pleased to find both this one and Remains of the Day at a charity sale yesterday. Will journal again once I have read it and will then decide whether to share to add to my PC shelf.

Quiet, but spellbinding. A private boarding school of sorts where the 'students' are groomed to perform a special function in society, a role they never question. What if medical science actually takes us to this point where we create a subculture of clones, designed to provide spare parts: donors. They live among us but separately. We try not to think of them as human. They never think of themselves as anything else. Interesting tale, very well told.
