Rainy autumn Saturday got me going into the used books store. This is what I came out with. The paperback costed only few euros and I wanted something light to read during the dark evenings. Apparently this is about three women, Emma, Leonie and Hannah, who think that when they achieve one thing in life they will be happy. "But sometimes when you wish with all your heart for a dream to come true, you risk destroying the happiness within your reach." Haven't read this Irish author before.

At first the book appeared similar to those Harlequin romance novels - meaning not proper literature. Yet while getting further in the book the tone changed into a more serious one and more realistic. The characters got deeper so to say. So even thought this is definitely womens litterature I would say that this is "better than average" women's literature.

Tells about three women over thirties become friends during a holiday in Egypt. They all have their issues; Leonie is a divorced mother of three looking for The One. Hannah is a single, strong and independent woman who has decided to go life without men. Emma is married dreaming of children and hoping to escape her tyrannic father.
