Found the book on a seat. Pounced on it before it could escape into the surrounding undergrowth, and after a short struggle, managed to subdue it enough to take it home and read it. I think the book had an inflated sense of its own value as a great read, because it was rather ho-hum, with a typical fairy tale happy ending. The concept was rather scary though, and the potential for some nutters to set off a small atomic device seems to be getting closer every day. I think the free book scheme is interesting, and I'll be keeping my eyes open for another one.
