Metro Girl

I'm a fan of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, but not so much a fan of the "Full" series that she writes with Charlotte Hughes, so I wasn't sure what to expect from "Metro Girl," the first book in her Alexandra Barnaby Adventure series. Turns out I was pleasantly surprised. The characters are fun--somewhat like her Plum characters in the beginning mostly because those are the characters who are in my head, but they came into their own as individuals as the book progressed. It's a pleasure to spend some time away from Trenton, N.J., and dwell in the bright Miami sunshine for a change. I'll definitely look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Passed along to a friend to read and release.
