The series finally comes to an end. The author inserted himself into the story quite well. He explained why there were delays in finishing the saga and even worked in his true-life story of being hit by a van.
Roland, Eddie, Jake, Susannah, and Oy are finally finished, or not.
The ending was a surprise, but it definitely was appropriate.
