I read Douglas Coupland's "Microserfs" when it first came out and it was like a revelation to me. I rushed out for more and came home with "Life After God", only to discover what I have since had confirmed about Douglas Coupland time and time again: he is very hit and miss. This book is irritating, as is half of Coupland's work. He is 50% talent and 50% hype. I know others love this book so don't just take my word for it, but I am quite happy to give this book away.

I wrote to another BookCrosser asking if she'd be willing to send me a book of cheezy gay sexcapades. She bravely chose Life After God from my bookshelf despite my negative review. I hope it appeals to her and thanks for the trade!

I got this at The Amazing Alonzo Bookstore in Duluth, MN. I haven't read it yet.
