The Corrections

This is part of my 1001 books to read. It started out well, and I thought I was going to really enjoy it until the appearance of "Mr. Hankie the Christmas Pooh" (Southpark reference). Interesting story about a woman who wants her family to be together for Christmas. However, the characters weren't very sympathetic and some I found myself rooting against (Gary).
Still one of the better books that I have read on the 1001 list - however, it followed the traditions of all Oprah books and was a bit depressing.
