Bought this book as a cheap, thick paperback to read on holiday (I tend to get through one a day if I go for lightweight ones)!
Really enjoyed the book and re-read it this summer when we stayed in "Au Paradis des Cigales" nr Bize Minervois, SW France. the book is set in the citadel of Carcassonne and all the references are to places in the vicinity which gave it extra interest for me. By the way the accommodation was FAB!!! Google it for the website....
Not the most challenging read but a time-slipping, magical mystery/thriller well worth a read.
As it had relevance to the area I left the book in the apartment for the benefit of future tenants - maybe this registration will be too late for anyone to track it but I'll do my best to get it out there!
