High Fidelity

This book is really really funny. It's not perfect, but it's really, really funny. Rob is the self-absorbed owner of a vinyl record shop. He has two self absorbed employees-one of whom enjoys ridiculing customers who come in and ask for records that he deems crap.
Rob's girlfriend has left him causing him to flash back and remember all the girlfriends who have ever left him. This could be potentially very boring, and to be honest there are times when he runs on a little long, but what saves it is the author's voice. He is (once again) really, really funny.
