I will be releasing this book at the next English speaking meet-up
Picked up at the September Vienna English Bookcrossing meeting.
Absolutely stunning, up there with Robert Harris for detail and atmosphere, as well as a twisting and turning plot.

british spy novel, always referring to Bletchley Park and Enigma. I think that's why Hall-Caine recommended it to me :-)
The story is told in installments as read 30 years later by the main character's daughter which gives it an interesting mix of pre-war, war and 70ies history. At times I thought it confusing because of all the espionage references I didn' get, bluffs, double bluffs, agents, and ghosts but I thought the ending was good (and convincing as far as I can tell.)
I finished the book during my holiday in Spain and left it in my Hostel in Barcelona. I exchanged it for a thriller another guest had left behind.
