My son wanted me to register and release this book. He hopes whoever reads this book next enjoys it as much as he did.
From the cover--
It all started with a birthday present. Omri didn't want, a small, plastic Indian that was no use to him at all. But an old wooden cupborad and a special key brought his unusual toy to life. And then even stranger things began to happen, wonderful, secret, dangerous, magical things.
Happy Reading!

Journal Entry 3 by admudd from Austin, Texas USA on Saturday, August 4, 2007
My wife and I found this book on a table at the fish hatchery in Burnet, TX. I am 33 years old and I remember reading this book when I was a child and loving it. I remember that my nephew (who is now 14) loved this story so much that my brother built him a small cabinet to keep in his room so that he could pretend that he had his own Indian cupboard. When I saw the book lying there, I thought about how much I would like to take it, but some poor kid left it and would surely be back soon to pick it up. I figured he would need it for the drive back to the city. Upon closer inspection, I realized that it was mine for the taking! Flippin'' Sweet! I get to enjoy reminiscing about a small piece of my childhood and then I can send it off for someone else to enjoy. What an awesome idea! I''m going to read it in the next couple of days and then I''m going to either leave it in the park near the capitol building in Austin, or I''m going to give it to a friend that is visiting from California next week and make them promise to release it there. To the kid who left it at the fish hatchery, thank you.
