I'm a big fan of Nicholas Sparks' fictional works, but this one is a memoir....of a journey he takes with his older brother. Not just an amazing 3-week trip around the world, but a journey through memories of growing up. It's a beautiful tribute to his family, the ones who have passed on to another life, and the ones left behind. This is one of my favorite books and I am passing it on to new and dear friend in Australia. I hope that will touch many hearts as it has touched mine.
