I'm a great fan of JD Robb's Death series. They are detectives but set in a future New York. Eve Dallas is the police lieutenant who looks after those who are murdered and finds out waht happened. She's great, her sidekick Peabody is a darling, and her 'sweetie' is irish rich handsome and helps her detect. it is all light trash, but great fun. This one is a 'short' novella, and perhaps not quite as good as the longer ones, but not bad at all!

I have been reading it while travelling, so am going to release it somewhere in Hawaii I think!
