This was told from a unique perspective, and while I enjoyed his simple views of life, the mathematical problems spread throughout became a bit tedious at times. I'm not much of a math scholar. :-P

It was on a list of books that my bookclub plans to read this year.

Sadly, I just read her journal entry and am now a bit dismayed since I too am not a mathmatical scholar...far from it, actually! I hate math.

Hopefully, I'll still enjoy it. I just flipped through it and was pleasently suprised by the quirky illustrations. I am now tempted to start reading it immediately but I have other obligations in line in front of it and I'm not sure when the bookclub is planning to read this one.

I received this today as a surprise RABCK --- many thanks! I'll add it to Mt. TBR. I really like the library-related bookmark, too, since my partner is a librarian.
